Each dog you enter into the system is required to have some form of registration number.
A single dog file does not support multiple registration numbers. If you have more than one registration number for your dog, you must create an additional dog file with DogShow.com
Types of Registration Numbers
There are different types of registration numbers. Make sure you select the correct registration type from the Registration Type drop down box before entering the number into the Registration Number field.
Please note the following legend when looking at example registration numbers:
“Z” represents any letter between A and Z.
“9” indicates that there can be any number between 0 and 9.
Barn Hunt Association (BHA)
You are required to have a registration number issued by the Barn Hunt Association in order to enter any BHA events.
BHA Registration Number: BH-99999
International Silken Windhound Society (ISWS)
ISWS Registration Number: 9999-9999/99
North American Sport Dog Association (NASDA)
NASDA Registration Number: N99/99999
Format: (N – year of application – NASDA dog registration number)
United Kennel Club (UKC)
You are required to have a registration number issued by the United Kennel Club in order to enter any UKC events.
If you do not have a registration number yet, you may request a temporary listing number online from the UKC at: https://www.ukcdogs.com/tl-numbers
UKC Registration Number: Z123-456 (Z can be any letter)
UKC Performance Listing Number: PL123456
UKC Temporary Listing Number: TL123456
